Humane societies, rescues, shelters, fosters, and people in general helping animals always need our help and support to do what they do. As many people know my family and I had to say goodbye to our beloved dog, Enzo, earlier this year. Enzo was a rescue. He was an amazing dog and member of our family. Without groups and people who are willing to take the time and effort to help animals in need many of them would not be here to share their love and joy with us. Without the rescue group where we were lucky enough to find Enzo, we never would have met him and shared 12 great years with him. While Enzo was not from Meriden, this is an opportunity to raise some money to support a great cause and ensure that animals in need get treatment, care, and most importantly, the chance to find a home.
